Land a Flip = Shotgun a beer

After you finish your beer you get 1 flip. Call someone's name when you flip the can. If the can lands standing up, the person whose name was called has to shotgun a beer. 

Additional rules: 1 flip for your first beer, 2 flips for your second beer, and so on.

Strike Out = 30 Beers & Pink Tutu

If you strike out, you owe the team a 30-pack of beers & need to wear the pink Tutu until Coach decides. 

Striking out looking or swinging. Foul out doesn't count.

Alameda's League Rules

No Beers in the dugout: Don't drink before games in front of everyone. Keep your can hidden if you are pregaming. After the game, we drink beers away from the field.

Start with a 1 and 1 count: Each at bat starts with one ball and one strike,.

Don't Touch Home: To avoid collisions at home plate, you need to run past home plate to the right. There will be a chalk line to cross. 

Pitching: The ball must go between 6'- 12' and land on the plate or mat behind the plate to be a strike.

7 innings long or 1 hour: whichever comes first. They won't start a new inning after the 1-hour timer goes off, you will finish the current inning. 

5 Run Limit for the first 4 innings:
Each team can score 5 runs at most in the first 4 innings. The 5th, 6th, and 7th innings are "open," you can score as many as possible.

Bat Regulations

Slowpitch softball bats labeled "ASA" or "USA" bats are allowed. 

USSSA (U-Trip) Bats are not allowed. If the bat has both stamps, it is allowed.
